Drop in hours will be from 10:30-noon and 1-2:30 PM each work day unless otherwise posted.

Located in S.T. Olin Hall, Room B-66, the Cornell Center for Materials Research Glass Shop specializes in providing high-quality scientific glassware services to researchers and students. Whether you need custom glassware for individual experiments, repairs for damaged glass, or consultation on your glassware needs, we are here to help. We can create intricate and precise-tolerance glassware to your specific requirements. The glass shop provides the ability to have custom glassware fabricated with Borosilicate glass ranging from 2mm—114mm and quartz glass from 2 mm—60 mm.

Repair: we can repair damaged glassware, modify existing equipment, and resize glass components to fit your experimental setup. Please bring your cleaned glassware to the shop, or send a photo via email and we can give you an estimate. (Please note all glassware must be clean in order to perform repair.)
