New UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometer in the CCMR Bard Materials Facility

The CCMR Bard Materials facility is pleased to announce the acquisition of a new Cary 5000 spectrophotometer.  The Cary 5000 is a high performance UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometer that provides an easy user interface and controls while maintaining superb photometric performance.  The Cary 5000 can accommodate a wide range of samples including liquids, solids, and films.  Standard acquisition is in transmission but diffuse and total reflectance spectra can be acquired with the diffuse reflectance accessory.  Spectral range is 175nm-3300nm.  For more information or training see the instrument webpage or contact Philip Carubia
