Optical Pyrometer

Bard B56

The Ircon Modeline 3 optical pyrometer is a noncontact temperature measuring system. Temperatures are measured via collection of radiated energy. Measurement ranges are from 200 – 1600 °C. Data logging options include peak temperature collection within a specified range and high-low alarm. Because of the wavelength response, it is useful for measuring glass temperatures and is not affected by atmospheric conditions.

Specifications:

  • Infrared response 4.8-5.3 µm
  • Analog signal outputs 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, or 5 uA
  • Response time 0.01-60 seconds
  • Emissivity 0.100-1.000
  • Resolution D/200 optics
