Welcome to the Education Outreach Program (EOP) of the Cornell Center for Materials Science Research (CCMR).

On our site you will find information on the wide range of educational programs for our faculty, graduate students, and K-12 teachers, students and the community at large that develop STEM curriculum and deepen pedagogical understanding and skills.

As Ezra Cornell famously said in 1868, “I would found an institution where any person can find instruction in any study.”

Here you can find STEM education materials including workshops, seminars, activity videos, and lesson plans designed by teams of CCMR scientists and classroom teachers through interactive collaboration.
